Want to study the Bible but not sure what to do tomorrow? This guide takes you through all 21 chapters of the Gospel of John in 30 days, with one short passage a day. Long chapters are split over two days, so most days are 20 to 40 verses.
Every day page follows the same 5-minute study flow: Read, Mark, Ask, Apply, Pray. You get the reading, a key verse printed on the page, three observation questions written for that passage, one cross reference to look up, space to apply it and a prayer line. Five minutes is enough, and there is room to go deeper when you have more time.
Before Day 1 there is a short start-here section: how to choose a Bible translation, why John is a good first book, and simple ways to build the habit. A 6-color highlighter and tab key gives each color one meaning, with symbols for repeated words, places, questions and memory verses. There is a blank page to make your own key, and printable Bible tabs and bookmarks in the same colors.

More about the guide
A one-page overview of John covers who wrote it, why it was written, the seven signs and the seven “I am” sayings, and a sketch map shows where the story happens.
Studying with a friend or a group? The four-session discussion guide follows the 30-day plan. Weekly review pages, four verse map pages (one worked example on John 15:5), a “questions I still have” page and 12 memory verse cards from John round it out.
The worked verse map starts from this verse: “I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 (WEB British Edition)
It is written for adults, mainly 18 to 30, and it is not tied to one church tradition. Use any Bible translation. Printed verses are from the World English Bible, British Edition, which is in the public domain, and each reading is given as a reference so you can read it in the Bible you already use.
